UX Prompt Library is a Chrome extension that provides UX designers with a curated library of prompts for use with AI assistants. This privacy policy explains how we handle user data.

UX Prompt Library does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. We do not have servers that receive your information.

The extension stores the following data locally on your device using Chrome's storage API:
Favorited prompts
Prompt usage history
Custom prompts you create
Custom tags you create
Your filter and display preferences
This data never leaves your browser and is not accessible to us or any third parties.
Chrome Sync
If you enable the optional sync feature, your custom prompts are synced across your devices using Chrome's built-in sync functionality. This data is handled by Google according to their privacy policy and is not accessible to us.
Third-Party Services
This extension does not use analytics, tracking, or any third-party services.

The extension requires certain permissions to function:
Storage: To save your preferences and custom prompts locally
ActiveTab & Scripting: To insert prompts into AI chat websites
SidePanel: To display the prompt library interface
Data Security
All data remains on your device and is protected by your browser's security measures.
